Here is a messy, layered, playful, not perfect, bursting with color and creativity picture of ME. My eyes are wide open and my mouth is set in determination. I am encouraged and ready to give courage. I have found my voice through my art along with my center and my calm.

Lately I have been 'living in interesting times." I have started backed to grad school to become an art therapist, the kids and I have moved back to the neighborhood of my youth to be closer to my family and I am single.I am hoping to blog more regularly about my adventures in this thing called life. Thanks for stopping by.

So it turns out I can't get my phone to blog, must be an at&t thing, darn cause I really liked Ruth's idea.
Many things afoot here at Casa Amarillo. the kids finished school so we are on summer break. Lots of plans to bike and swim and basically hang out, kickin' it old school.
I have decided to make pirate costumes for everyone this year. Talk Like Pirate Day falls on a Saturday this year which coincides with our Renassiance Festival so I am encouraing everyone I know to come out in garb (plus, I really just like dressing in costume)
I will be heading to ArtFiberFest in 17 days and I am stoked. It's in Portland OR this year, which is somewhere I have wanted to travel for awhile. I am taking all handwork classes and not vending, I am looking forward to relaxing and recharging!
