So taking people's advice, I tried repeating the shell motif, and just sewing it up. I tried to do a shell in beads and I am not completely sold. And I have also discovered that when you carry it on your right shoulder, the area in question is totally covered by your elbow. I may just take the beads off, I do really like the idea of dangles too. So as before, please feel free to suggest. I wouldn't ask if I didn't want real opinions... My techniques for the linings are still pretty rough. the art quilt part is the determining factor in all these and I have just been faking a pattern around it.
