and trying to keep my sanity. We have a few weeks left of summer vacation and we are closely approaching burn out. I made the choice to not super schedule my kids this summer and I am allowing them to be "bored" but look, here's an article that backs me up. We have been doing arts and crafts, gone biking, lots of swimming but they are ready for more structure and I am in need of some quiet.
While the kids played restauarant yesterday, I made up some fabric postcards, using my photos on fabric (and yes, you can mail them). I am planning on taking these to Farmer's Market this Saturday.
Let's hope for cooler weather and people with deep pockets.
